SKYSCRAPPER IN A FOREST

This is my second attempt at using 3ds Max. I felt a bit more prepared this time, and my overall process improved.

That said, I still ran into some challenges—particularly with rendering speed. My first attempt rendered too slowly, so for this one, I reduced the number of objects in the scene and completely reworked the composition, though I kept the same building as the focus.

My process:

I started this project with a clear goal in mind, but that goal evolved as I progressed. The original idea was to create a winding path—either for walking or cycling—with a forest on one side and a large building on the other.

In the distance, I imagined fields of flowers and grass, possibly with fences and power lines scattered throughout.

However, the scale of what I wanted to create turned out to be a bit too demanding for my laptop. I had to rethink the concept and reduce the complexity of what I was rendering. The images you see are the result of navigating that challenge. Overall, I’m quite happy with the outcome—especially for my second attempt using 3ds Max and V-Ray.
